41ST Annual- Mammoth Lakes FD Picnic & Canoe Race

If you’re looking for a great way to spend this weekend.

The Mammoth Lakes Volunteer Fire Fighter Association is holding its 41st Annual Picnic & Canoe Race.
On Saturday- Canoe Races will be held at Horseshoe Lake at the top of the Mammoth Lakes Basin. You can sign up and have a fun race with family and friends.  Categories are held for all ages and competition levels.

On Sunday- A Picnic with Games will be set at Shady Rest Park.  Events will be a sack races, egg toss, bucket brigade, greased pole climbing, dunk tank, $$$ in a hay stack, and don’t forget the DIRTIES KID COMPETTION, and much more.

Both days will be featured with a food concession of BBQ Burgers, Hot Dogs, and Pulled Pork. The event wouldn’t be complete without Cotton Candy and Ice Cones.  Don’t forget the World Famous Beer Wagon featuring some Great Brews from Mammoth Brewing Company.

The Mammoth Lakes Fire Fighter Association Thanks, You and its Sponsors for your support and making this a great annual event. Shirts, as shown below will be on sale both days. Please remember to have a great time but be responsible- the town trolley or a sober friend is a great way back to town.

I look forward to seeing you there at this great local event.
