Cal/OSHA Log 300 Reporting & New Experience Mod Technology
VIDEO CONTENT:
Today I have two important announcements for you in regards to workers comp insurance. First off, why the focus on workers comp insurance? It is the most controllable insurance you have to earn a minimum premium, so I love to look for ways to close out claims and get your employees back to work and get you that minimum premium.
First off, Cal/OSHA 300 electronic log reporting are due on March 2nd. For injuries occurring in calendar year 2020. All employers with over 250 employees MUST report. And then employers with 20 to 250 employees whose industry is listed in Appendix H also must report. So some of you will be exempt from reporting requirements. Finally, for those employers with less than 20 employees, you’re exempt unless you’ve been specifically requested by Cal/OSHA to report.
In addition, our big announcement for 2021, we’re excited to announce that we’ve partnered with software technology to help us monitor your experience modifications and further improve our processes and give us actionable areas for improvements on your accounts. If you’re interested in that, let me know, otherwise we’ll be putting you on this technology as we work on your renewals in 2021.
